Eija Hakkola

Taivaanpyörä (Sky Wheel) is located at Dynamicum in Helsinki, more specifically in the lobby of the Finnish Meteorological Institute and the Finnish Institute of Marine Research. Taivaanpyörä is a mechanical artwork that consists of rotating glass plates with a picture of a cloudy sky printed on the surface. The image appears when all the halftone dots meet each other at the right angle.
